Japanese radios fold back power with a bad SWR and Ten Tec do not.
Be careful you don't blow your finals on full output key down if your SWR  is 
high.
Ten Tec's use a fuse in the power supply to control current if the rig  draws 
too much caused by a bad match.
If you are not using a Ten Tec supply you must supply the protection via an  
after market magnetic fuse in the + line from the power supply such as  with 
an airpax breaker.
