The soldering on the Astron linear power supplies is some of the worst
ever seen. I thought they outsourced the board assembly from CA.. to
Mexico. Maybe just to South CA? In about half a dozen I have repaired,
the leads were not clipped after soldering, the solder is marginally
flowed, and boards were not cleaned post soldering.
