Interesting. I have been thinking of tossing the FT-817 into the car, but 5W
into a low-efficency antenna has deterred me thus far. This amp is too big for
that job.
I didn't look to see how it was rated for QSK. Might be the ticket for QRP'ers
who like to tinker; but would like a backup plan "for the rare one".
