The Titan does NOT require guying. Mine survived several years
of Nevada breezes (80 MPH gusts) unguyed with no problems. It
is triple-walled at the mounting area and double walled the next eight
feet.

The Challenger on the other hand does need guying. Mine was guyed
in Denver (also known for its high winds) but I couldn't guy it in Nevada.
It bent.

Barry and others, the GAP Eagle is a 40-10 m model.

I agree with Barry, the R7000 is inferior to the R7/R5 or even the R4. The
Gap Titan suffers from its physical size and the need to guy it. I found
the Titan had the edge over my R7 on 40, but they were identical on the
20,15 and 10.

Anyone tried the new R6000?
