Not sure what others have experienced while using LMR-600 but I was just on
my tower this weekend (in some insane heat) removing two runs of LMR-600.
This was the FLEXIBLE version that does not have the PE jacket. On my cable,
the jacket had begun falling off, especially in areas where it got wet or
damp regularly, and actually closer to the ground than in the air. But I
also have found that some other locals here had done the same
thing..disposing of this cable due to the same problem. This was
Times-Microwave brand and not another brand. It was about 8 years old...your
results may differ. - Mike

Chuck,

If you are asking about the LMR600/400 from Jefa Tech, it comes on a reel.
400 comes in 500 and 1000' reels, while 600 is only 500' due to the
thickness of the cable.

Note that LMR600 requires special PL259 connectors that can accommodate the
thickness of the cable.
