As I understand it, the "Matrix Mode" with the CT-17, allows for one
transceiver act as a controller for other transceiver(s).
Since one transceiver is the master (with a single address) sending a
command from the computer with an address for a "slave" transceiver will
return an error code from the command transceiver.

The simple solution is to control each transceiver from a different COMM.
