I'm talking of ground stuff at 50/60Hz. Vibration might be a point, but I never had a problem meeting the DEF STAN L2 requirements, which a lot of fixed ground stuff had to meet, with conventional transformers. After all, 50MW ground mounted radars in concrete bunkers don't see a lot of vibration.
