i send with a hand key at about 16 WPM (if you can believe the RBN), and
i feel that there is a bell curve of happiness and satisfaction in the
length of a contest QSO. i WANT him to send my call and his call and 599
KW and TU, even if it is at 40 WPM and sent by a computer
it takes that long for my ancient brain to admit "by god i got him!!"
cut any of that out and my ancient brain says "oh my god, did i really
get him?"
