Subject: [Karlnet] POE question

First, Happy New Year all!

Second, when using POE on an RG-1x00, what is the maximum voltage I should see at the RG end of the POE cable? It's hard to regulate.

In my latest install, I used the standard RG wall wart, and I get ~8.9 VDC at the RG, but the RG keeps rebooting, just like what I see when I use some 100mW cards that draw more power.

How high can/should I go with the RG before it starts to cause problems? 10V? 12V?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Travis
