The
biggest difference is what you are paying for your RGs.
We
bought 300 RG-1100s and got them for $115, $117 each
shipped.
And we
can also get away using the $30-35 Maxrad WISPerformance antenna's as
well.
All
areas are different. And that $285-295 is with NO labor. Add $100 in labor and
I'm right up there close to the $400 range.
For us
Karlnet is great!!! Does everything we want it to do and more. That we would
like to figure out how to do.. .:-)
How
are the rest of you doing your installation fee?
What
are you charging for your monthly fee and what speeds?
Are
there any people doing any leasing with IBC on CPE
equipment?
Nate
Sweet! We are also using RG1100s and
the SR-4000.
You must be using a fairly inexpensive
antenna? Almost all of our installs are 24dB parabolic grids
($65). Mount at $15. Pigtails at $12.50. Enclosure, $17. Two
N-male LMR-400 crimps at $4.50. And of course, RGs at $170, KN at
$65. $5 of CAT5, $5 of LMR. Right up around $360 right
there. Plus the labor to put all this together.
Where's the difference(s)?

$$$ now
I
got to tell ya. Our current CPE solution that we use is running right at
$285. That is for everything.
But also using RG-1100's and SR-4000 license.
With Outdoor Rated Gel Filled CAT5 cable.
Nate
Before:
----------
RG = $115.00
After
-------
New MB = $150 + $50 (radio) = $200
Add LMR, connectors, arrestor, POE, antenna,
mount, enclosure, and CAT-5.
I thought this new stuff was going to be
priced around $300 for an all-in-one with license? That was what I
heard at WISPCON-II.
