Hello Steven:

I recall reading here about a battery associated specifically for the FT1kDs
ATU.  I dont believe that is true, however.  I just scanned over the technical
service manual diagrams and parts list here and did not see any battery included
within the ATU control board or the ATU main unit.

Besides that, I just did the power-on reset (FAST & LOCK buttons) this morning
to clear the ATU memory.  Also lost the Frequency Channel memory data.  My ATU
tuning problem for 10 meters is gone for now as result of clearing the memory
stack for the ATU.
