? Good point, Mike. One way to detect distortion is to listen (using
much attenuation) on another receiver to your transmitted signal. [A
double-filter receiver is preferable]. Measure the relative
signal-strength of your splatter up 4kHz and down 4kHz. 30db down
probably won't get you tarred and feathered at the next swap-meet or
convention. 36db is excellent. 22db is feculent.
