I haven't found 1 kv 1% resistors at Allied, Newark, Mouser, Vishay, or
Dale. Of course, thirty 500v units that at $.05 each is still cheaper
than fifteen $.50 1kv units.

Still, I'd like to know the sources you have in mind. In this
application I need a total of 500 megohms, which I will get with thirty
three 15 megohm resistors in series. I couldn't find any 1% resistors
that went up to 15 meg. So I had to settle for 5% 500v. Cutting the
number of resistors in the string down to 16 would help some though.
Where else should I be looking?

Thanks,
Michael
