Bill,

It was never the intent of the FCC law to prohibit licensed hams from 
operating amplifiers that meet all the other requirements of type 
acceptance, other than low drive.

If you choose to live your life that way, fine, but don't cast aspersions 
that hams operating within the spirit of the regulations are in the same 
category as CBers operating "10 pill" broadband amps.  It makes you look silly.
