I suppose if someone *really* wanted to solve the two-prong 220 issue, they could put a 1:1 220vac isolation transformer before their hamshack feedand use the secondary centertap as the "common" , and have a "true" split phase 110vac-0-110vac system for any out-of-country 110vac accessories.
