Well, the electrical distribution system in NA is old and outdated. EU has a
much better system where most homes have a 3-phase system which allow the
loads to be evenly distributed. OMHO!

Why is two conductor 220 any different from two conductor 115 in the states?
Older wiring here in the US has only two "pins", no ground pin and no
polarization. A look at double insulated drills, computer power packs and
wall warts show that they have two pin connectors and are not polarized or
"grounded".
