RG-designations used to be rigid specifications for cable. That has not
been true for at least 40 years. All the RG-numbers tell us is the
impedance and the approximate size. RG6 cables are somewhere between
RG59 and RG11. If you believe it tells you more than that, you're out of
touch with reality.
