Sorry, but you are not getting it at all, Ralph.

That a logging program produces something other than Cabrillo per
the Cabrillo specification is another example of the problem that
Cabrillo has become, as for some reason it seems everybody can
decide what Cabrillo is - including you yourself suggesting that it is
some open-source, make-up-what-you-like standard.

There is no one-size-fits-all solution for contest logs or entries.
Cabrillo was a good way to go about it, but is falling short as
everybody seems to have to go making things up on their own.

Try doing a few non-major contests & get chased to send in
logs. I don't send in logs, I send in entries. Rules say Cabrillo
& Cabrillo has a specification. In that specification there are
words like "shall", "must", etc. Do something like the JARL
has & do as you bloody well please - otherwise Cabrillo has a
specification. Work with it.

Advocating anything else is devoid of logic & contributes to the
problem, Ralph.

What is & what isn't bold starts to illustrate just how much Cabrillo
has fallen apart. If you were to look at more than just the contest
name, there would be even fewer.
