Exactly. I would just like to see the rules well written and followed. If
the rule says the exchange is your hat size and your house address number,
then give your hat size and house address number. Leaving out your call in
the SS report is another example of circumventing the rules to create an
operating "technique", such as cut numbers where they shouldn't be used, in
order to gain some mythic time advantage. I'm not saying I like those
exchanges but, until someone lobbies successfully to force a rule change, we
might as well stop griping.
I still like the idea of random numbers though :)
