What a headline... After some hours of qrp-contesting I thought first it was
about bigguns not knowing how to react to a tiny signal ;-)  Same "deer in
headlight"-case after the second request for repeat without success. In most
cases the biggun shows no clear reaction but sooner or later simply sends
"CQ test" without giving the calling station a feedback whether he is in the
log or not (both cases possible and happening as seen from UBN-reports) -
which is IMHO more crucial then the silence or sri in the "pse qsy-case"
which both mean the same for the biggun. But not making clear whether
someone is in the log or not is worse.
So a "sri"-F-Key is due on both sides as the ability to use more than F-keys
is evenly spread amongst bigguns and cannon fodder (at best replacing the
senseless "qsob4"-button with it).
