What race are you talking about? The winner of a contest has the most
points regardless of how many hours he/she operates. The contest race is
not sitting in the chair for the full duration but achieving the most
points. Racing (running) requires the runner to cross the finish line in
order to achieve a medal. They are NOT the same.

Nearly all the marathon runners actually finish the race. In
contesting, we have nearly 90 percent of the runners failing to complete
the race.
