Yes.. and let those that want to.. compete with 6+ rigs, many ops, lots of
antennas, huge maintenance requirements and a giant truck load of fun.. along
with all those that are wannabes.. that cheat to attain, or just want to try it
once... they can all compete.. with each other.
The rest of us, the boy and his radio, the small pistol, the once a year
attempt, the new license, the old hat that wants to play, the experienced so
much that the full time in the chair is too much for the body to stand.. but
they all have ethics and compete according to the rules.. no whining, no crying
- "level the field".. they just want their piece of the truck load of fun
without all the rest of it.
No whining, no reflector full of accusations, no week long effort to scrub the
log(s), just plain fun.. and years and years of comparing scores without
tracking a change forced by the snowflakes of the chase.
there.. I likely torked off a few folks, but remember... if I did.. how is that
possible? I didn't name names.. nor did I point any fingers..
Could it be(?) just possible that I got to close for comfort?

This is kinda where I was headed. We need to revert back to a much more
simpler concept of Multi at least for Multi one or Multi single. One rig
many ops and fun, not 6 rigs a huge station and lots of ops and crazy lock out
systems etc.

The question is should the rules for multi be for the way most people
view and operate the class or catered to a select few that push the
envelope?
Would we have more or better competition if we changed to rules to
reflect the way that most multi operator situations happen?
I have no problem with those that want to push the envelope but I think
that mind set removes any desire from competing.
Would more people compete in a Multi single where it is once radio only
or a M2 where it is two radios? Where a smaller station has a chance to
compete.
What we have now is super stations just revamping their setups into
super MS or Super M2. Is some of it to avoid competition from other
MM's? I would say so.
In my many years of online gaming people always talk the talk about
wanting competition but they really don't they want to play to crush and
will avoid true competition at any cost. I think we see this a bit with
people shopping for the "right" category to enter to win the paper prize.
