It's a good question, Ed. Thanks. Given our League, I think all of us
will be well served if we face forward and embrace the fundamental shift
in the way we as a society consume written periodical content. I don't
hold it against the League (us) to attempt to sustain itself
(ourselves). I can only speak for myself, but once I got past being
bound to a print magazine, and I started enjoying the way the (vastly
enhanced) content is presented on the 'web, it gave me a new, different,
and better outlook. I reiterate I am only speaking for myself, but I
wonder if what I am saying resonates? Certainly contesters have been
squirming about this exact thing ("reduced" coverage of contests) for so
long, it sounds like a debate about incentive licensing :-)
I imagine we're all different about this and how much we like the
physical magazine in our hands. It is not an easy question.

Mark, With all due respect, in the next 2 years do we expect the last 2 pages
to also disappear? Why not, at least then the attitude at QST will be so
obvious it can't be ignored. What will really be telling is if all of a sudden
FT8 contests get multiple page spreads. Then the cycle will be complete.
