This makes sense to me.

There are several options for a base stations.  Is Non-Polling Base and ISP
Base with Protocol filtering the same thing except one does protocol
filtering?

What is the difference between ISP Base Station and Non-Polling Base
Station?


FWIW, this is the only explanation of the differences in the manual:

"The Base Station Mode determines how the base will interact with the
satellite (slave) stations."

Doug...  How about some information about the differences?   What is best
for what application?

I'm most interested right now in PTP links.
