I began talking about this to a pleasant yet overworked Doug Harman in 
June 2001.  I have given up talking to Karlnet since June 2002 for 
various reasons, among others the "obscurity" or "rarity" of the 
problems we occasionally face, according to Karlnet.  Examples on demand.
