ya, i've done everything i can think of to track down this problem. i've sat
there with a sniffer, used packet generators to see if i could simulate it,
messed with every clients transmit rate dependant upon how many retransmits
were occuring, nothing. It is a little better now from messing with the
transmit rate. It seems to only occur with base stations with > 20
clients(just an estimate) on them and with a low noise floor <70db.
i've about had it though, ive just gotten quotes for canopy and im starting to
think that might be the best alternative. the cpe costs are down to 250-275 and
i can do QoS for voice over ip or stuff with it. karlnet CPE costs are crazy,
especially if you need an amp and want remote management. Sure , you could
just use the USB client, but troubleshooting is a nightmare.
