Chen,
Cabrillo is just a data format for sending in logs -- it doesn't do
the checking.
However, the contest judges use several layers of checking to
adjudicate a contact.
Say W7AY and AA4LR make a contact duringIf W7AY and AA4LR each have logged a
contact with the other station
at roughly the same time, that's a confirmed contact.
If W7AY has AA4LR 599 GA, and AA4LR has W7AY 599 CA at roughly the
same time, then W7AY gets credit for the contact, but AA4LR does not,
because he did not correctly copy the exchange.
This approximation also extends to the callsign. Say AA4LR logs W7AT
599 OR. Same as above, W7AY gets credit.
The contest judges use the computer software to detect non-matching
contacts, but the judges make the actual determination of who gets
credit and who does not. The contest software just makes suggestions.
