I agree that the problems existed before, but 5BDXCC and the other
awards have multiplied the problem many times. Previously the lids
only did their lid behavior twice - once for CW and once for phone.
Now they are doing it on all bands, all modes, all IOTAs, all grid
squares, etc, etc.
