Well, said Dick.  Sadly, many US operators just can't seem to understand 
that they are "always" operating split.  But they continue to call on the 
transmit frequency.  I realize that some just forget to hit the split 
button.  I've been guilty of that.  I also noticed that there were many 
false spots as to where they were operating on 30 meters RTTY the other 
night.  I listend on those spotted frequencies and heard people calling 
them, but they were down about 2 to 5 above their transmit frequency.  I 
can't say for sure that the false spots were intentional, but I moved to 2.5 
up and nailed them on the second call.  I'd like to see them doing more RTTY 
as I'm sure all of us would.  It has sure been interesting as well as brutal 
at times.  Hi Hi.
