Yes, I remember that. In fact, the protocal was to call 'CQ RTTY' on CW and then when someone answered, switch to RTTY - 850 shift. The calling RTTY frequency back then was around 7140. 73 Tom W7WHY I remember back in the days of SPARK we had to CW ID on rtty but we sent everything RTTY with just the ID, for the FCC, in CW.
