The CPU/DSP board on the Orion needs a small mod in order for the sweep to
work with version 2 firmware. Version 2 firmware will run on an Orion
without this mod. But the sweep requires this mod to be done. This mod can
be done by anyone with reasonable skill at soldering. It takes about 2
hours to perform the mod. The Orion front panel has to be removed to get to
the board. Two jumper wires have to be soldered and 2 land patterns have to
be cut.
