The lawyers are working on making "plain language" bad reviews risky. This is not limited to ham gear or publications. Unfortunately, we need to spend more time reading between the lines --- and reviewers need to spend more time writing with this in mind. With a little thoughtful effort a reviewer can turn "faint praise" into useful information.
