Agreed! V 2.0 needs work in several areas, especially with the TX audio.
But I think many of these areas have been already covered in past weeks so I
will not list them.
We can only assume that work on these problem areas is ongoing, but there
has been no communication from Ten Tec as to whether they consider V 2.0 a
finished work or not, or if further updates will be coming out for the old
Orion. What we already have may be what we "got". I assume most of us are
running some version of 1.3xx as I am, as 2.0 is unsuitable for my
purposes.
I did get an email from one Orion owner who said he was getting BETAS from
Gary for the purpose of correcting the audio problems, and he indicated
there was improvement but not complete resolution of the "high end
distortion". So maybe testing is still going on.....sure hope so!
