Lifting the neutral or ground is a sure fire way to increase your funeral
directors bank account.

I have know a person that eliminated the neutral to eliminate that remaining current loop. He used the station ground as the return. This is in violation of electrical code of course and not recommended to do because of the electrical hazard.Like Jim has said before, from the point where the coax shield from the antenna start measuring your lengths of inter connecting cable to the radio gear. A 1/4 wave length will radiate. You need to break that up. Common mode chokes are the answer.Keep The Faith, Jim K9TF/WA9YSD _______________________________________________ TenTec mailing list TenTec@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/tentec |
