My Omni VII is from the second production run. I installed several beta and every regular release of the firmware until John Henry left Ten Tec. Occasionally there was a minor glitch, but my experience with John's work and his superb communication with users made me an even greater Ten Tec fan. While I don't have an Orion II (although did own an Orion for about three years), I would feel confident that whatever is humanly possible, John will do.
