I assume you mean the DX777 Headset. I've been using one with my Orion II & Omni VII for a long time & love it. I haven't done anything to the settings in the rig & get excelloent results with great audio reports. On the Orion II SSB Menu Aux input gain = 90 TX Filter BW = 2400 L.F. Roloff = 120 Hz TX Audio Source = MIC H/W MICGain = 0.0 dB I must admit that mos t of my operation is CW & SSB is used only if I need to fill a band slot or for contests Dave WA3F ----- Original Message ----- From: "John Simon" <jrsimon@ozemail.com.au> To: "Discussion of Ten-Tec Equipment" <tentec@contesting.com> Sent: Sunday, August 26, 2012 12:26:16 AM Subject: [TenTec] Orion II/DX767 Pro Setup Just acquired a TT DX767 Pro headset and was wondering what settings to use on the Orion II? So far I've just left everything as if I was using the normal hand mike. Comments please.
