THE SOLUTION IS VERY ELEMENTARY, JOHN . . .

Just tell the 7268 NCS the following 3 things:

1. We will QSY up 1/2 kHz "if"
2. They QSY down 1/2 kHz, "and"
3 If anyone in their group still has a problem, (s)he should buy a TEN-TEC
transceiver.

ARRL DX Contest SSB Weekend.

Now, at the time that the Ten Tec net is scheduled to meet on 40, there
won't be a LOT of North American DX activity, but there will be some. So
there will, no doubt, be people displaced from their anticipated
schedules... we all know how that can go, I won't dwell on it.

Now that said, and with all due respect to the 68 group... unless they can
show me the deed to the frequency, it is first come, first served. And if
they don't believe me (and I suspect they might not), well, refer them to
FCC Part 97.

... on the other hand, I think I can safely predict that the 20 meter net
will find it... challenging... to operate on Sunday, during the midst of the
contest.

Sounds like someone's politely saying "don't poach our frequency"

Boy, are they in for a surprise this weekend.
