I just tried Tera Term and it works well.

PS: The issue with my Orion may have a temperature related aspect to it. I
tried the “XX” restart this afternoon from Tera Term with positive results.
Tonight, it did not work, but bringing up N4pY did work and make the radio
mostly functional.
