The T2X here is mounted over 250 ft from the shack. Number 12 Romex
(outdoor type) is used to power the motor. Also, the phase reversal
capacitor is mounted next to the T2X on the tower saving two
wires. Works great.

I used plain old 2 conductor (with ground) number 14 house wiring for all my
really long runs up to around 450 feet at my old location. I ran two sets
parallel (total 6 wires) to my rotors and then mounted the cap at the rotor.
That was back in the old days when you could get a roll of 1000 feet for
around $60. It WAS a pretty cheap way to go.
By the way, after ten years in the FL sun this indoor stuff was getting a
little brittle. But hey, who really cares. You can always recycle it like I
did into nice ground wire for verticals.
