Steve has given you excellent advice. Furthermore, there are MANY
specifications for a good cable. Loss is only one of them. All of the
physical construction details that Steve has discussed, and many more,
are also important specifications.
In most antenna systems, the cost of the coax is usually the smallest
element of the total cost, but it's a very bad place to cut corners,
because failure of the coax can render the antenna useless (and cause
you to spend a lot of time and/or money to replace it). In the words of
founding father Ben Franklin, "penny wise and pound foolish!"
