I have been using BuryFlex here for 7 yrs or so and it looks as good as the
day I put it up. The "PE" type jacket appears to be the reason which is what
the DXE4000 says it has. Has anyone else compared these two and/or have
good or better yet BAD things to say about the DXE 400 product? I am in the
market for some new stuff for a new antenna and need to push the button on
one or the other. The COST is not the issue per se but the LENGTH of
use/time is. - Mike

I used DX Engineering DXE400MAX, and only one large
horizontal turn. The cable experiences only bending,
and no twisting.
It's EXACTLY like Davis RF's BuryFlex400 but without
the higher price and added shipping cost.
500 feet = $365 ($0.73/ft) w/ ground shipping included
to 48 states. Less than 500 feet = $0.82/ft with shipping.
If you want more flexible, DXE has RG-213 for $0.89/ft
(shipped) but, the jacket is only Type IIA PVC.

A loose, 3 turn coil of LMR-400 will do the job if
properly supported. It acts much like a very large
watch spring; loosening in one direction and
tightening in the other with very little bending
going on.
