You've got to be kidding me. So I'm at fault for getting a box worth
$700 that's filled with mistakes?? Where does that skewed logic come
from?
What does the value of a dollar mean, anyway? I spent money in order
to play with my satellite gear rather than fiddle with my T-100, build
jigs, cut elements and build matching networks. In this case, the
manufacturer made a BAD BAD oopsie.
Are you an engineer? If so, what were you doing when the statistical
method behind six sigma quality was discussed?
Let me refresh your memory if you don't know or haven't got the
message: The number of failed products manufactured is directly
related to the number of defective components in it. In this case, a
defective product, produced by a manufacturer cutting corners shows up
in my hands.
Here's a clue for you: If I have one that's wrong, there are others.
I'll continue giving M2 antennas bad publicity. Those pictures on
Flickr are going to stay. When they show me that they can fix an
obvious problem, like more than 50% of an antenna being the wrong
size, I'll quit.
Personally, I don't care if you think the moon is made of green
cheese. I know exactly what happened, have pictures to prove it, the
physical part (antenna) to back it up and most importantly, the
receipt.
M2 antennas quality control AND customer service leave much to be
desired. There's no doubt about that.
Feel free to astroturf somewhere else.
