Funny story - My dad, N5DX, (W5DRW at the time) was operating AM one Sunday
morning back in the 1950's. Someone in the congregation at the First Baptist
Church about three blocks away left the building and ran to his house to report
that he was coming in loud and clear over the church's PA system and they
couldn't hear the minister. Yikes!
