I’ve had fairly good results with the Budwig.  The key is not to use the feed 
wires to support the antenna.  Loop it through the holes and then double back 
to solder to the feed wire or better yet, double it back on itself and clamping 
with split bolts and then loop back to solder to the feed wires.  Do not put 
any load, especially vertical load, on the feed wires.
