I found that using the "-C" option with 2Tone, the QSO entry and bandmap
windows flicker badly, in case anyone else has result. The 2Tone window
wasn't complete either.

That's right. You can store XMMT.ocx as many times as you want and in any
location(s) you want. But once you register one of them (any one of them),
all applications that use XMMT.ocx will go to that location via the Registry
reference. All other instances of XMMT.ocx are unused and ignored by
applications.

For example, if you have N1MM Logger installed on your computer you will
have XMMT.ocx installed and registered as well. This is because N1MM Logger
has always used the XMMT.ocx Active X Control for integrating MMTTY, MVARI,
etc. Long before 2Tone came along.

Now, if you move or delete the instance of XMMT.ocx that is registered, the
application using it will be lost and "should be" smart enough to ask you
for a path to it. Hopefully, no smoke is created. In WriteLog, if you move
a Registered copy of XMMT.ocx and then try to select XMMT.ocx on the
Rttyrite TNC menu, WriteLog will complain but still offer to Register a copy
for you and ask for the path. I don't know what N1MM Logger or other
applications using XMMT.ocx will do. Hopefully, they would be as graceful.
