The original question about the Ten-Tec Centurion was posed by Tom Georgens.
In discussing the causes, I simply quoted Tom's own words in stating the
facts.  Twice, now, you have taken the word "Tom" to mean someone other than
Tom Georgens, and then attempted to discredit him and or me by bringing up
points that are irrelevant to this discussion.

Tom Georgens pointed out that he hot switched by accident, and did not ever
operate in that way.  It was relevant that in his tests the arcing never
occurred when the amp was hot switched.  So, all of the discussion of the
evils of hot switching, while interesting and useful in other situations,
did not help Tom solve his problem.  In fact, not having arcing while hot
switching would tend to point to something other than amplifier problems,
such as leading edge spikes.

I assume Tom was interested in solving the immediate problem and move on and
not redesign his amplifier, but I could be wrong.
