Because they are dumber than they look. The generally poor performance
of Yaesu and Icom rigs in this regard are evidence of this fact. And
because users think fast rise times are needed for well defined CW. No

If they provide the setting, and know what it does because they have
implemented it, can't they tell how fast is too fast? Is there ever a reason to
