for the more detailed info. All truth be told, they are still Rock Solid
and Dependable Rigs. Surface Mounted parts are Not some kind of Gremlin or
Demon. In most cases SMT boards are much neater and dependable. And in my
case, after working with them for years..... they are sometimes much easier
to troubleshoot. We even worked on the Highly Bragged about Zenith TV sets
which were Hand Wired No Circuit Boards at all, just like the old Boat
Anchors that we love so well. Too many years have passed ..... Where did
they all go?  *
