But you don't mind the harm he's doing to you by ignoring your pleas to fix?

If you've made an honest, good-faith effort to complete the Q, you can leave 
the frequency with your conscience clear. 

And if he has it wrong and won't listen to your fix, he doesn't deserve the Q 
anyway.
