If you aren't transmitting, no one is going to hear you. My practice is to
be calling CQ on one band while working my way through another. When I'm
done with that band, I CQ on that band while working my way through the
other. My S&P rates can sometimes hit 90....getting occasional answers to
my CQ's on the other radio adds a few more.
I can count on one hand the number of times I have ever tuned both radios at
once. It's netted such poor results that I don't do it anymore.
